The Current Procurator Fiscal is Alexander M S Green, M.Theol (Hons), LL.B, LL.M, M.Litt, FSA Scot A graduate of St Andrews and Aberdeen Universities, Alex is a solicitor and notary public admitted to practice in Scotland and in England & Wales. He is an Advocate in Aberdeen and has an active interest in Scottish History and Heraldry. He is a member of the Heraldry Society of Scotland and the White Lion Society.
In 2006, Alex established his own solicitor's practice. Prior to that he was a partner in an international law firm for many years. His personal arms, impaled with the arms of office are shown below.
